In Turkey, at the Autographed Book Museum, which is located in Istanbul, visitors can now see a unique book. The exhibition presents the "Vankulu Dictionary". This is the first book to be published in the Ottoman Empire. The year of publication is 1729. It was written in Arabic 800 years ago, and in 1729 it was translated into Turkish and printed by Ibrahim Muteferrika, the founder of Turkish printing. The dictionary is two-volume, it is valuable not only because of its venerable age, but also because it contains important information about the language and literature of that time.
