Minsk sees potential for increasing cooperation with Ankara in trade and economy

Minsk sees significant potential for increasing cooperation with Ankara in the fields of trade, economy, science and technology. This is stated in the congratulation of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people on the national holiday Republic Day published on Saturday.
"I am convinced that there is a significant potential for increasing bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, science and technology," the press service of the Belarusian president quotes the text of the congratulation.
Lukashenko noted that "throughout its rich history, Turkey has played a significant role as one of the largest countries in the world in political, economic and social dimensions," and Ankara's current achievements "contribute to further enhancing the country's authority and strengthening Turkish statehood."
The President of Belarus expressed hope that, despite modern challenges, the traditions of mutual respect and friendship between the two peoples will continue to serve as a solid foundation for the progressive development of the Belarusian-Turkish dialogue.
